נבחר לחבר־יועץ בשנת תשפ"ד.

נולד בשנת 1982 בגרמניה ולמד עברית מקראית בבית הספר התיכון. באוניברסיטת היידלברג למד לתואר השני במדעי היהדות ובבלשנות שמית, ובאוניברסיטה העברית בירושלים – לתואר השלישי. את עבודת הדוקטור כתב בהדרכת פרופ' שמואל (סטיב) פסברג בנושא "תחביר הצורות של הארמית השומרונית" (תשע"ב). מאז שנת תשע"ג הוא מלמד במחלקה ללשון העברית באוניברסיטת בן־גוריון בנגב.

תחומי עיסוקו המדעי: עברית וארמית אצל השומרונים, ספרות השומרונים, עברית וארמית במגילות קומראן, ארמית מערבית, סורית יהודית.
